"Italia" was inspired from my cook school in beautiful Umbria, it shows you how to make classic Italian recipes the easy way. In true "easypeasy" manner, authentic doesn't have to mean difficult. It's classic gnocchi, risotto, making your own pasta and pizza bases, and many other traditional Italian cooking through simple step-by-step instructions. The book takes you through an Italian feast: antipasto, small first courses, salads and vegetables, gnocchi, risotto and polenta; pasta; breads and pizza; meat, chicken, game and fish, desserts (eg mama's tiramisu); baking, and drinks (eg papa's limoncello). The authentic photography taken on location at the wonderful villa in Eggi, a small town near Spoletto will be a fabulous coffee table book as well as taking pride in the kitchen.
