Seagars at Oxford is the realization of a dream of mine: to share my passion for New Zealand, the scenery of the South Island and the food and wines that the country is producing. This is what Seagars at Oxford all about.

Jo’s cook school, café & cook store are located in Oxford, North Canterbury, approximately 45 minutes from the heart of Christchurch.
Headed by Executive Chef Phil Keen and Front of House Manager Barnaby Wylie, the Café will be the most visible part of Seagars at Oxford. Our aim is to showcase local produce and wine – but within a casual café atmosphere. There are no pretenses here.

Jo has done a lot of cooking. She knows what kitchen tools work and those that are really only there to fill the cupboards. Here in her own store, she has had the luxury of picking out the kitchen and dining room inventory that she knows, likes and uses on a daily basis.
