This is what I am about – I’m passionate about New Zealand, the scenery of the South Island and the food and wines that the country is producing. Through my writing and television work, I have also tried to provide home cooks with recipes and tips to produce great meals. My solutions acknowledge the modern problem of time management as well as the modern advantage of food products that can help reduce preparation time.

I have a wonderful staff here to assist in making the dream come true. Their mission is:

• to establish the café as a leader in Canterbury, using seasonal produce to prepare meals to excite our customers.

• to provide a hands-on cooking class experience – assisting the cook to reinvigorate their repertoire.

• to market a range of kitchen tools and merchandise through our retail store that are recommended for their quality and value as an investment buy.

• to train in the skills required to perform their tasks to the delight of our customers.
